The borough’s engineering representative reported that the road program work has begun and identified a proposed new home on Glenwood Avenue that has received a DEP planning exemption for the planning module. "Just 2 things to bring to your attention tonight is the road program work has begun. ... And the proposed new home on Glenwood Avenue, we did receive the DEP planning exemption, for the planning module," the engineer said.
The engineer and council members emphasized that the Glenwood applicant still must obtain approvals from Darby Creek Joint Authority and Delcora for sewage before permits will issue. Council and staff discussed that one road was removed from the program after PennDOT approval because Aqua will replace a main there, reflecting coordination between utilities and the borough.
