Board approves resignations, hires, policies and education agreements; authorizes CCP and FFA trip

On Feb. 9 the Claymont board approved a slate of superintendent recommendations covering personnel, policies and inter‑institution agreements.
The board accepted the resignation of Devon Anthony effective Jan. 14, 2026 and the resignation of Tina Jones (preferred district substitute) effective Feb. 20, 2026. It approved Amanda Belknap as a band volunteer and Joey Lunsford as an after‑school high‑school credit recovery instructor (paid at tutor rate). The board amended Alexis Stallman’s unpaid leave to run Feb. 20 through April 15, 2026.
Policy approvals included the Gifted Identification Plan and Gifted Education Policy, multiple technology policies (Internet Filtering; Responsible Use; Staff Responsible Use signature page), and policy 6.09 Preventing Chronic Absenteeism (effective Aug. 1, 2026). The board approved the Stark State College College Credit Plus (CCP) agreement and authorized the FFA to attend an overnight State Convention April 29–May 1, 2026. All superintendent recommendations were approved on a single roll‑call vote recorded 5‑0.
