NICE board hires new coaches and staff, accepts two resignations

At its Dec. 15 meeting the board approved hiring Savana Driesenga (Head Varsity Volleyball Coach), Sam Gilles (Head Varsity Football Coach), Amya Johnson (special education teacher), and Jamie Skytta (custodian); it accepted resignations from Sheenah Kestila and Stacey Lee. Each motion carried.
The NICE Community School District Board on Dec. 15 moved to fill several personnel positions and to recognize two resignations. Motions recorded in the minutes show Scott Mann moved, John Grove supported the hire of Savana Driesenga as Head Varsity Volleyball Coach and later moved to hire Jamie Skytta as a custodian; Jim Gray and John Grove were recorded supporting other personnel motions.
The board also approved hiring Sam Gilles as Head Varsity Football Coach and Amya Johnson as a special education teacher. The minutes note recognition of resignations from Sheenah Kestila and Stacey Lee. All motions were recorded as "motion carried"; the minutes do not include individual vote counts.
