Public Works reports signal pole hit, ongoing tree trimming and creek-bank erosion at Electric Avenue

Jourdan also described ongoing tree-trimming operations, reporting that crews have progressed from 56th Street eastward on Burnham to National and have reached 45th Street with additional parkway trees to follow. He said the work "looks good," a comment the minutes attribute to Jourdan.
Separately, Jourdan explained that a property owner at 4711 West Electric Avenue repaved a parking lot and installed a curb with two drainage outlets that concentrated stormwater onto the creek embankment, eroding approximately 6 to 8 feet of bank. The owner did not obtain a permit before the work, which triggered a permit requirement; village staff will have a site meeting with the owner and Village Engineer Ben High to determine restoration steps. Trustee Schuettke asked about possible Wisconsin DNR involvement given past sensitivity in the area; Jourdan said he would follow up with Engineer High on that point.
