At the July 7 meeting the Buildings & Grounds and Forestry & Parks departments reported routine maintenance activities and project progress.
Buildings & Grounds reported minor lighting and plumbing repairs, commercial washer and dishwasher issues at the jail, repaired compressors for courthouse and sheriff’s air conditioning, interior Courthouse painting nearing completion, P.M. inspection season beginning, and fire extinguisher inspections including the server room. The department said it is fully staffed.
Forestry & Parks reported a second layer of asphalt at Solberg Lake Park, scheduled professional painting, landscaping, bathroom railing installation and washer/dryer installation in a new addition, opening of an ATV trail, statue maintenance at Concrete Park, fishing pier and pavilion work at Timm’s Hill Park, two delayed toilets at Big Falls Park with lights ordered, campsite smoothing at Smith Lake Park, four active timber sales, and upcoming work on Lugerville Grade Road and Steve Creek Range.
The committee approved vouchers: Buildings & Grounds May 2026 $7,580.55 and June 2026 $6,877.88; Forestry & Parks May 2026 $63,578.63 and June 2026 $67,234.29. The meeting adjourned at 10:29 a.m.
