Recreation staff (Mark) said ballparks are open, spring programming is underway, and the Oso Fit 5K had roughly 3,000 attendees and generated about $27,000 that benefited 48 nonprofits. Commissioners thanked staff for the breadth of programming and asked staff to investigate whether registration data could yield a separate count for pickleball participants at Sierra.
Staff said they will follow up on the pickleball attendance question and will report back if the data can be disaggregated by activity.
