Andrea Gurr, representing Uintah Wax, told the commission that "The proposed Miller West pad would be located immediately west of the previously approved Super Pad and Sage Pad, same conditions and use of the same access point and turn-lane improvements." She said the application includes a signed waiver from a property owner within the 1,000-foot radius and the installation of directional signage to guide oilfield traffic to the correct pad locations.
Board Member Mark Redmond moved to approve the CUP and to recommend approval to City Council; Board Member Leah Bastian seconded. The motion passed with all members present voting in favor. Board Member Steve Collins was listed as excused during the meeting.
The commission’s approval is a recommendation to the City Council, which will consider the CUP as part of its permitting process.
