The library will collect submissions through the end of the month and post a monthly winner image on the website during the summer.
City Librarian Jennifer Baker said staff will support the committee and that the library is conducting outreach to schools after spring break to encourage student participation. A trustee volunteered to serve and Baker said staff will let the board know when the committee is ready to convene.
