Selectboard enters executive session, votes to mail letter rescinding planning commission appointment

At the Dec. 22 meeting the Selectboard recessed and entered executive session under 1 V.S.A. § 313 for a personnel matter; during the session the board voted to mail Rama Schneider a letter rescinding his appointment to the Williamstown Planning Commission and adjourned at 9:54 p.m.
At 9:20 p.m. Selectboard member Cote Griggs moved for a five-minute recess and that the meeting then go into executive session; Tyler Mitchell seconded and the motion carried. At 9:25 p.m. Clayton Woodworth moved to enter executive session under 1 V.S.A. § 313 for a personnel issue; Tyler Mitchell seconded and the motion carried.
While in executive session the board recorded a motion by Cote Griggs, seconded by Clayton Woodworth, to mail Rama Schneider a letter rescinding his appointment to the Williamstown Planning Commission. The minutes record the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:54 p.m. on a motion by Tyler Mitchell, seconded by Clayton Woodworth.
