The Los Molinos Unified School District Board of Education approved its First Interim Report and AB 1200 certification at the Dec. 19 meeting, recording a unanimous vote that the district is able to meet its financial obligations for the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
Trustee Roger Mesecher moved to approve the First Interim Report; Melissa Peters seconded the motion and the minutes record the vote as 7-0. The board also approved current monthly bills and student body accounts for Los Molinos High School, Los Molinos Elementary and Vina Elementary under the consent agenda.
Board members received budget information from CBO Ms. Landingham as part of the superintendent and business reports. The minutes do not list dollar-by-dollar budget line items in the public minutes; the First Interim approval constitutes the board's formal AB 1200 certification for the year.
