Los Molinos Unified board re-elects officers, swears in trustees

The Los Molinos Unified School District Board of Education convened Dec. 19 and completed its organizational business, including oaths of office and the election of board officers for 2025.
Superintendent Joey Adame recited the Oath of Office to confirm the seating of Chuck Crossland, Barbara Morgan, Sue Knox and Roger Mesecher as trustees. The board then elected Barbara Morgan president, Melissa Peters vice president and Sue Knox clerk; each motion carried 7-0 with recorded movers and seconders. Trustees also agreed to maintain the same date, time and place for regular monthly meetings in 2025 and approved the Board Action Calendar 2025.
The organizational actions were presented as routine governance items and approved unanimously, with the minutes recording each motion as "Motion carried 7-0." The board signed off on its schedule and calendar to guide meeting planning for the coming year.
