Committee approves LOSB-targeted RFQ for Land Bank realtor services

The committee approved making realtor services for the Land Bank a targeted LOSB RFQ to increase exposure for certain industrial and commercial properties and to give departments a prequalified pool of realtor services to use.
Esther Sykes, land bank administrator, told the committee the land bank holds unique properties that need greater exposure and that an RFQ could provide preapproved realtor services departments could piggyback. "We have properties in the inventory that would benefit from greater exposure," Sykes said, and noted some properties have buyer restrictions or EPA issues that require specialized marketing.
EOC and purchasing staff discussed the balance between LOSB and MWBE pathways and the committee moved to make the project a LOSB-targeted market RFQ; the motion was seconded and carried.
