City to address salary compression in July; staff weighing flat adjustments and policy changes

Clark said the compression remedies will be included in the fiscal process as a separate item from a general wage increase. "As Mary mentioned earlier, we are going to begin to address compression in July," Clark said, and staff will present recommended caps and criteria during the budget process.
