City projects $1.2 million cost to implement new pay ranges; $1 million already budgeted

Human Resources Director Nicole Clark told the council the projected fiscal impact of implementing the recommended pay ranges is approximately $1,200,000. Clark said $1,000,000 of the total was already approved in the current fiscal year’s budget and that enterprise departments will absorb required increases through their own department budgets.
The estimate covers general and non‑general funds; Clark invited questions and said staff would provide department-level details as needed. "The projected financial impact, is a total of $1,200,000," Clark said during her presentation, and staff noted the budget already includes $1,000,000 toward that total.
