Township to send ordinance notices over vehicle, junk and dog complaints
Summary
Following public comment and new-business reports, the board directed staff to send ordinance notices and photographs to property owners about accumulated cars on 121st Street, tires and junk on 114th Street, and to provide a copy of the dog ordinance to a downtown complainant.
During open forum Brian Jones asked the board to take action regarding a neighboring property; the board added his item to new business. In new business the board directed letters to be sent with a copy of the township dog ordinance to the owner of a dog reported running at large downtown.
The board also directed staff to send letters and copies of the ordinance, along with photos obtained by maintenance, to the owners of properties alleged to be accumulating cars on 121st Street and tires/junk on 114th Street. Maintenance will supply the pictures for the violation notices and the board did not record further enforcement actions at this meeting.
