Maintenance reported the 134th Street culvert replacement will occur at the end of October or beginning of November and the township plans to submit the remaining project costs to the county for grant funds. Separately, the Meridian Avenue culvert project, completed by Monticello Township, will allow the road to reopen tomorrow.
Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to authorize up to $750 for beaver trapping and up to $1,000 to hire a water truck for grading if needed; both measures were seconded by Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen and carried 4-0. The minutes indicate the board will seek county reimbursement for eligible culvert costs but do not specify the grant name or amount.
