Trustee Stacey Kyle was ceremonially sworn in at the start of the October Santa Cruz County Board of Education meeting. The board president invited Kyle to take the oath, and Kyle repeated the oath of office before trustees and guests. "I, Stacey Kyle. Do solemnly swear..." Kyle recited.
After the oath, President Sanchez and several trustees offered brief remarks welcoming Kyle to the board and noting her prior service to local schools. Kyle thanked the board, superintendent and her supporters and said she looked forward to serving students across Live Oak, Capitola and Soquel communities.
