A commissioner raised an item of old business asking about an application from a bed-and-breakfast owner who sought some form of relief to add to his property. The commissioner said he could not recall the applicant's name but remembered the individual had attended the meeting.
Planning staff responded that the matter was not an active application before the commission and that interest from other organizations had waned. "The topic is kind of the interest in it has dried up," staff said, adding that staff could review the matter again and provide an update if the commission wants to take it up. The commissioner said he was primarily interested in the outcome of the earlier discussion and not necessarily in reopening a formal application at this time.
Staff offered to follow up with the applicant and bring any new material back to the commission if the commission directs them to do so.
