The planning commission voted to approve the final plat for Tennessee National 522, a planned development comprising 114 lots, after staff reported coordination with state reviewers and resolution of technical comments on cul‑de‑sac lengths and driveway slopes.
Planning staff said the plat had received TDEC approval for grading and road control and that the items raised since preliminary plat approval had been addressed. "Since the last meeting for which we got preliminary plat approved, we've worked with staff and added notes in regards to the length of the roads for the cul de sac roads and the driveway slopes," a staffer told the commission.
Commissioners moved and seconded the plat approval; the roll‑call vote recorded unanimous 'Yes' responses from members present and the motion carried. Staff noted that a bond would be posted for the development per standard practice and that staff would continue to monitor completion.
