Clerk to research whether town can charge for 3rd-class liquor-license renewals

At the April 28 meeting, Kim Seymour told the Liquor Control Board that "we did not always renew 3rd class licenses, that has been just in the last 3-4 year and we do not get paid." She said she believes the town can charge for the service but will research the legal authority and bring findings back to the board.

No formal motion was made to adopt a new fee schedule; the board directed staff to investigate whether the town has authority to charge for processing 3rd-class renewals and to report back with any recommended changes.
