The Arlington Disability Advisory Commission set plans for outreach at an upcoming county fair, agreeing to staff a booth across Friday–Sunday with multiple short volunteer shifts and to use a simple paper prompt for attendee feedback.
Commissioners approved a poster highlighting the commission’s mission and vision, the short prompt "Your voice matters — tell us what's on your mind," and one‑page handouts with contact information. Karen Odon said the commission will print up to 100 copies and that county communications and constituent services will help with the logo and final print layout. Anna Maynard, the staff liaison, said county interpreter services could be used if a fair attendee requests language access after the fact, and commissioners discussed font size and braille access.
