An Encircle representative (S3), called forward during the vendor reports, said Encircle is operating two Arlington-owned group homes and recently re-opened a second home that has been lived in for several weeks. Staff and committee members thanked Encircle for the operations update and for community programming at Irving Street.
Chair and staff announced that Encircle, Melwood and OSG will partner to launch a community garden at Irving Street on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.; the launch will include OSG volunteers working with residents and Melwood staff and is intended to institutionalize regular visits and scheduled resident engagement. Staff asked partners to circulate event details and to coordinate attendance.
