Council approves one-year extension for financial consultant, audits; budgets $15,000 for each

"This year, we're requesting a $15,000 budgetary item for each," Windsor said, and he added the city expects auditing services to be solicited next January and consultant costs to decline in future years.
The council voted by roll call and the chair declared the motion carried. Windsor explained the extension is intended to complete the transition of institutional knowledge so the city can reduce outside consultant reliance in coming years.
