City staff presented the FY2026 final budget including an approved certified tax rate of 0.001434, conservative sales tax projections and an updated consolidated fee schedule. Staff noted a re-budgeting of unfinished FY2025 projects (streets, water, TUF) and internal utility reviews; a state mental health grant for the fire department was included in revenue assumptions.
Councilman Jeremy Davis requested a breakdown of the Fire Station renovation; City Manager David Larson said he is still compiling that information and will provide details to the council when available. Councilwoman Angie Petty moved to approve Resolution 25-21 and the motion passed on roll-call with Council Members Davis, Dills, Petty and Winsor voting aye.
