Commission approves Urban Plains Retail 2nd edition replat and consolidated conditional overlay

Chelsea Leverson of the Planning Department presented the Urban Plains Retail 2nd edition proposal and told commissioners the applicant requests a minor subdivision and a zone change limited to consolidating conditional overlays while keeping the base LC (Limited Commercial) zoning unchanged.
"Staff's recommendation is for approval," Leverson said. Leverson explained the replat would consolidate three existing conditional overlays into one cohesive CO and replat seven lots into three, vacating a 24-foot access easement on proposed Lot 3 and providing a 30-foot break in a negative access easement along Brandt Drive South for Lot 1 access. After a public-hearing period with no speakers, a motion to approve based on staff recommendation carried on roll call.
The applicant's representative, Nate Vollmuth, was listed as available for questions; commissioners recorded no substantive objections during the meeting and the commission voted to approve the replat and CO changes.
