Meg Rudman, superintendent of Olive Grove Charter Schools, addressed the board during public comment to introduce her family of charter schools and to notify the district that Olive Grove intends to seek renewal of its authorization. Rudman described Olive Grove as a personalized-learning public charter serving TK12 with a blended independent-study model and said the school is accredited and subject to the same statewide assessments and accountability measures as district schools.
"Our current charter term runs through 06/30/2026," Rudman said, adding that the school was recently placed in the middle-performance category on the California school dashboard and intends to seek a five-year renewal. She invited board members to visit the learning center and attend an upcoming joint 10-year celebration on May 14.
