Santa Ynez FFA and ag program honored; membership and student earnings highlighted

Teachers and advisers highlighted competitive achievements: sectional placements, regional officer elections, 10 students earning the California state FFA degree, 26 ag‑mechanic students receiving OSHA construction certifications and more than 100 student certifications in quality‑assurance in animal science. Heather Clement and colleagues also announced new honors and concurrent enrollment courses in agriculture and veterinary science for the coming year.
A program representative said, "We're really proud of our students and everything that they have accomplished this year," and thanked the board for support that enabled expanded course offerings and competitive success.
