Consultants schedule three days of community engagement in Middletown ahead of referendum

Consultants confirmed a three-day community engagement program in Middletown to preview concepts and gather public input ahead of broader referendum planning.
"We will be in Middletown next week, from Wednesday, the 2nd to Friday, the 4th," consultant Jade said, outlining an itinerary that includes an open house, a teen session at the library, drop-ins at programs such as Play Pals, a lunch-and-learn at First Church, a family night at McDonough School and a pop-up at the farmers market. Jade said each session will include interactive activities, posters and worksheets to capture design preferences, ideas for activating library spaces and community stories.
Staff asked committee members to amplify the outreach invitation and to forward materials to their Middletown networks to increase participation. Consultants said they will update materials after a review with staff and incorporate committee feedback prior to the sessions.
