"This is one of those cases where we truly acknowledge that there is a hardship," staff said, describing the change in standards since the house was built.
A speaker (Robert Garza) appeared; board members from District 1 participated in the discussion, and a motion to close and approve was made from the bench and passed 8–0. Staff reported 59 mailed notices with no returns in favor or opposition and indicated there is no HOA or PID for the neighborhood. If approved, the applicant proceeds to regular permitting.
