Alderwoman Christensen reported recommendations from the Budget and Finance Committee. The committee brought forward a Conflict of Interest and Ethics Policy and Form and multiple Public Works job descriptions intended to support long-term succession planning.
Council voted to approve the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Policy and Form on a motion by Alderwoman Christensen, seconded by Alderman DiFonzo. The updated Public Works Operations Manager job description was approved on a recorded vote, with Alderwoman Rasmussen casting the only Nay. The Assistant Public Works Director and Public Works Director job descriptions were also approved on subsequent motions. Council tabled proposed Employee Handbook revisions, Drug and Alcohol Policy updates, and FY26–27 payroll recommendations for further review.
