Volunteers make progress on Swedish phone booth art project; timeline still unclear

Greg Johnson (speaker 10) updated the board on the Swedish phone booth public-art project, saying volunteers Scott and Denver Silva are working on CAD designs and measurements. He said some main structural pieces require specialized metal-bending and a local blacksmith has offered to assist.
"They have determined that some of the main structural pieces… they don't have equipment that will bend these compounding curves," Johnson said, noting collaboration with a blacksmith to advance fabrication. He described progress but had no firm completion date.
Chair thanked Johnson and said she will continue to monitor progress and ask for updates in future meetings; the board noted some project costs have not yet been invoiced to the BID's current fiscal accounting.
