SANTA MONICA — During the meeting the board considered a series of staff-related resolutions and recognitions. Staff recommended, and the board approved by voice vote, annual resolutions for release or non-reelection of certificated temporary employees and probationary employees (Resolution Nos. 25‑36, 25‑37 and 25‑38) effective June 2026. The board recorded votes for each motion and carried the staff recommendations with the majorities noted in the meeting record.
The board also adopted recognition resolutions affirming Women's History Month, support for arts and music in schools for 2026–27, National Middle Level Education Month (March), and a resolution honoring Cesar Chavez's birthday on March 31, 2026. Motions were made and seconded and the resolutions passed by recorded voice votes.
No modifications to personnel lists were made in open session; the action reflected the staff recommendations presented by district staff.
