Board signs off on vendor, event and facility agreements and several grants

At its March 18 meeting, the county board approved several vendor and event agreements and accepted grant funding. Motions included a 36‑month Cintas contract for $3,214.64 per year to clean county building rugs; a Stardust Circus contract for $750; a Mel Smith PLS Promotions (Gun and Knife Show) contract for $3,500 for April 17–19, 2026 at the Kaliseum; and approval of the Bissell Pet Foundation grant to support vaccinations, spay/neuter, medical care and microchips. The board also accepted the FY2025 Emergency Management Performance Grant for $2,651.00.
Other administrative approvals included adding a 4% credit-card fee to Log Lake fees, approving the Building Official contract with Eli Electric LLC (3.9% annual salary increases), and authorizing seasonal Log Lake caretaker hire for April–September. The motions carried by recorded roll call votes as noted in the minutes.
