Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen reported during the Dec. 3 meeting that she continues to submit items to the township's CPA for the annual audit and that the CPA is expected to finish within the next couple of weeks. She also said she made corrections to 11 parcel records and submitted fire-assessment data to the county.
Paumen told the board that the township’s federal tax payment schedule has changed: because the township paid more than $50,000 across the last four quarters, federal taxes must now be paid semi-monthly. The board did not record further action on the tax schedule at the meeting; the clerk indicated the change is an administrative requirement.
