County to issue 14 economic development grant applications; IDA meeting set for Aug. 11

Kemper told the committee that 14 economic development grant applications for 2026 were approved at the last board meeting and that the county attorney’s office is drafting contracts to send to municipalities. “There’s 14 of those,” he said, adding staff will work to get the agreements signed.
Kemper also noted an Industrial Development Agency meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11, and invited members who were interested to attend. Staff indicated the grant documents should be sent to municipalities shortly for execution.
