Superintendent Brian Rentsch told the board the district has reviewed consolidation options in light of budget considerations, property‑tax reform and available funds from the 2020 levy and ESSER grants. Rentsch said the district team has met again with the architect and asked whether the board wanted staff to proceed with developing a formal design set so plans would be ready if officials decide to continue the addition project.
Board members indicated agreement to proceed with the design process so the district would have plans available if and when the project advances. The briefing was presented as an informational step: no construction contract was approved and no funding appropriation for construction was adopted at the meeting.
