O'Brien County Board approves agenda and minutes, recesses to drainage meeting and adjourns to Sept. 23

At its Sept. 16, 2025 meeting the O'Brien County Board approved the day's agenda and the minutes of Sept. 9, recessed to Drainage District No. 4 at 10:00 a.m., returned at 10:35 a.m., and adjourned to Sept. 23, 2025. Motions were moved and seconded by board members and carried by all ayes.
The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors began its Sept. 16, 2025 session at 9:00 a.m. and approved the meeting agenda after a motion by Friedrichsen, seconded by Thomas; the motion carried by all ayes. The board then approved the Sept. 9, 2025 minutes following a motion by Vanden Hull and a second from McDowell; that motion also carried by all ayes.
Later in the morning the board recessed at 10:00 a.m. into a meeting of Drainage District No. 4 and returned to regular session at 10:35 a.m. The meeting was adjourned to Sept. 23, 2025 after a motion by Thomas, seconded by McDowell; County Auditor Rhea Schmalen attested the minutes and Barbara Rohwer signed as chair. The minutes record no public-comment items or substantive debate on those procedural motions.
