On Sept. 16, 2025 the continued hearing for Drainage District 4 reconvened and trustees reviewed additional correspondence, including an opposition letter from Warntjes Ltd. Chair Barbara Rohwer explained cost-allocation questions posed by landowners and reiterated procedural steps for a remonstrance.
Trustee Friedrichsen moved and Vanden Hull seconded a motion to close the hearing because a remonstrance had been met; the motion carried by all ayes and the hearing record was closed. The minutes note trustees had previously directed Bolton & Menk to run a camera inspection and to prepare a pre-classification report to inform any future decisions.
