The board approved several routine and formal items at the Feb. 20, 2025 meeting. A board member moved and the motion passed to approve the minutes of the Jan. 16, 2025 regular and closed‑session meetings. The consent agenda — which included the personnel report (hires, leaves, resignations, retirements), January financial reports, pay orders and expenditures, a P‑card monthly report and a second reading of board policy — was presented with no removals and approved by roll call.
Later the board approved a resolution authorizing issuance of general obligation limited‑tax school bonds not to exceed $6,125,000 (series 2025) for working cash; board roll call recorded six affirmative votes. Finally, the board moved to enter closed session to discuss security procedures and student disciplinary matters under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(8) and 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9). The board took a five‑minute break before closed session.
Motions were moved and seconded from the board table as recorded in the meeting; roll‑call votes were taken for the minutes, the consent agenda and the bond resolution.
