Superintendent Dr. Margaret Clauson told the board that Spring after‑school clubs begin Feb. 23 at all three buildings and that the Spring session has 551 student participants, a 28% increase from the fall session; the Stronger Connections grant funds much of the program cost. Registration for the 2026 Summer Exploration program opened Feb. 5; transportation and meals will continue to be provided at no cost.
Dr. Clauson also described a pilot of aimswebPLUS assessment and reporting (one student per grade K–6) to evaluate district use and an expansion of Yellow Folder digital records management—already in use for personnel files—to store student cumulative and health records to reduce paper dependence and improve authorized staff access.
