Village OKs 1-year janitorial-contract extension with EcoClean for $55,752

Public Works Director North told the board EcoClean Maintenance has provided janitorial services since 2023 and recommended addendum number 1 to extend the contract for one year at a cost of $55,752. North said staff has had good service overall and that background checks are required when personnel service police facilities.
Trustee Selfridge moved to approve the addendum, the motion was seconded and carried on a roll call vote. Staff said the addendum, if approved, will be included in the village’s future budget and cannot be removed without further board action.
