Chair Ralph Rautner opened the meeting at 5:03 p.m. and asked staff to call roll before moving to the agenda. Because several members said they lacked sufficient background on a proposed 'color code' update, the chair asked that the item be removed from the evening's business.
Mark Lee made a motion to approve the agenda with that modification; Kenzie seconded. The board voted in favor and the chair announced the amended agenda was approved. The board then deferred approval of the previous meeting's minutes until clerical edits provided by the clerk's office were incorporated.
The removal of the color-code item was presented as a procedural accommodation so the board would not take formal action without adequate information; no substantive decisions about the underlying color-code proposal were made at this meeting.
