The Vernon County Board of Health voted April 9 to approve a new Quality Assurance and Control policy and procedure for Colilert testing used in environmental water analysis. The motion to approve the policy was made by Sherrie Seidel and seconded by Martha Olson; the board recorded all ayes and the motion carried.
Staff also reported that sanitarian interviews are ongoing after a candidate declined due to family reasons. "Annual license renewals have been mailed this week. Establishments have until June 30th to renew their license," a staff member reported, and internal staff are covering duties while additional interviews are scheduled for April 11. No changes to licensing deadlines were proposed at the meeting.
