The Oconto County Board re-elected Alan Sleeter as Chair and Dennis Kroll as Vice Chair during the April 21 organizational session. County Administrator Richard Heath oversaw nominations and ballot tabulation; ballot clerks were County Clerk Kim Pytleski and Chief Deputy Clerk Kathy Goldschmidt.
In the chair balloting, Supervisor Heise nominated Sleeter and Supervisor Behrend nominated David Behrend; nominations closed and the tally was Sleeter 21, Behrend 9. For vice chair, Supervisor Scanlan nominated Dennis Kroll and Supervisor Meier nominated Carol Heise; the tally was Kroll 20, Beyer 10. Both Sleeter and Kroll thanked the board after results were announced.
