The board considered a concept plan from Anderson's Towing to occupy a shared logistics building at 300 Amandage Drive.
Applicant Dan Anderson described operations: the site would include office space, a shared back lot of about a half-acre for vehicle parking, roughly 10–25 cars on the property at times, and an estimated two to three tow-truck visits per day. Anderson said he conducted a two-week snapshot showing 40 calls, with most calls during daytime hours. "We did 40 in 2 weeks... 12 were between 6AM... and 28 of those were between 6 AM and 2 PM," Anderson said.
Staff reported backup-alarm sound readings (100 dB at the rear of the truck uncovered; around 80 dB when muffled), said staff would not recommend disabling safety equipment, and recommended the concept be scheduled for a Planning & Zoning public hearing in October. The board agreed and forwarded the concept plan for public hearing notice and neighbor notification.
