Board adopts 2024 Shorewood comprehensive plan update

The Shorewood Village Board approved an ordinance on Sept. 10 amending Title 9 of the Village Code to adopt the 2024 comprehensive plan update.
Trustee Brockman said staff had not changed the text since the prior reading and moved approval. The ordinance passed on roll call with all trustees voting in favor. Staff indicated the update had been reviewed at prior meetings and was ready for adoption.
Adopting the comprehensive plan updates the village’s mapped and policy guidance and will inform future zoning and development decisions referenced elsewhere in the meeting, including the ORI code amendments.
