The Shorewood Village Board voted to approve a site-plan amendment for a parking expansion at the Shorewood Troy Public Library on Sept. 10.
Trustee Anne Brockman said the library sought to reduce landscaping and delay a second parking lot “not only because of the cost, but also because they're not gonna put the 2nd parking lot in at this time,” and noted the planning commission recommended the amendment by a 7–0 vote. The motion to approve the resolution passed on roll call.
The board record shows the payment and site modifications were limited to landscaping adjustments and the library will proceed with the first phase of parking expansion as shown in the amended plan. The item had no further public comment and was approved as presented.
