The Citizens’ Advisory Committee convened at 7:00 p.m. on March 26, 2026, with Trustee Luciano leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Four voting members—Doug Starasinich, Judith Monahan, Mike Perry and Mark Nicpon—were present; because a quorum was not established the group proceeded as a discussion rather than taking formal votes.
Staff and officials attending included Mayor CC Debold, Village Administrator Aaron Klima, Economic Development staff Isabell Bohanek and Natalie Engles, Public Works Director Noriel Norega and Police Chief Phil Arnold. The meeting covered village updates (traffic signal and bridge projects), economic development proposals, water infrastructure planning and upcoming community program deadlines. New committee members Jonathan Chapman and Alex Menchaca were announced. Members were reminded to complete the Illinois Attorney General Open Meetings Act course and the next meeting was set for April 13, 2026.
