Chair reviewed recent community outreach events at Calvert Library, Prince Frederick and Twin Beaches and said turnout was low at the library events; members discussed alternative outreach strategies such as setting up tables at community events and partnering with churches.
"The best annual report he has ever seen came from Calvert County," the chair said, noting state-level praise for last year's submission. Members agreed to reconvene the annual report subcommittee, aim for greater coordination and to email outreach suggestions to staff member Michael for consolidation.
The board set a quarterly meeting cadence and asked members to send outreach ideas to Michael in HR so the county can coordinate materials and event participation.
