The Huachuca City Council set a work session for April 2, 2026, to examine the potential annexation of land along Highway 90 north of town and parcels in the 400–500 blocks of Lower Huachuca City.
Town Manager Suzanne Harvey told the council staff would evaluate costs of extending water, sewer and other services, gauge resident and property-owner interest in becoming town residents, and analyze potential benefits to current residents. Mayor Johann Wallace said he wanted the work session so the council could "really get into it and see what we are looking at."
